Venosc

Venosc is a mountain side village about a 20 minute drive from our house in Bourg d’Oisans and is well known in the area for it’s crafts.  The village streets are steep and winding and along them you will find small shops selling handcrafted jewlery, wooden toys and nick nacks, leather goods, textiles and local food produce.  There are also cafes and restaurants, and gallerys to browse in.

Aside from the village itself you will find the cable car station from where you can take the telecabin a spectacular 10 minute ride up to the resort of Les 2 Alpes.

For the more active, you can walk up to Les 2 Alpes, a two hour trek, or take the telecabin up with your mountain bike and come down the amazing downhill run back to the cable car station.
