Sunday was the carnival of St Laurent in Bourg d’Oisans and the town was busy with people enjoying the atmosphere. In the town square a spit roast beef was served up with sliced potatoes baked with cream and a local speciality barley coffee. The carnival procession of floats, bands and dancers set off through the town after lunch and the evening finished with a fantastic firework display, and dancing to an orchestra in the centre of town. A great day!
